Supervision

Restoration Counseling is pleased to provide supervision for professionals who are working towards licensure. Our supervisors are either Certified Professional Counselor Supervisors (CPSC) or Approved Clinical Supervisors (ACS). Supervision will provide personal and professional growth and is offered in individual or group sessions. Please contact one of our supervisors if you have questions or would like to schedule an introductory meeting.

Jennifer Stuckert, MA MFT, LPC, NCC, CPCS, ACS

Jennifer offers supervision for those seeking to gain their LPC or need hours toward the MFT license. Her clinical and theoretical orientation is interpersonal, psycho-dynamic, systemic, and cognitive. Her supervision orientation includes cognitive, systemic, interpersonal process recall, and psycho-dynamics. She has very specialized training in biblical integration and will regularly utilize those skills in supervision to encourage growth in the supervisee’s skills in integration.

A one-hour introductory meeting is required to determine a “goodness of fit” to pursue a supervisory relationship. We will evaluate this as it relates to your supervision needs, clinical experience goals, and my clinical background, experience, etc. If it is determined that we will not work together, then consultation and referrals will be provided upon request.

If you are interested, you may contact Jennifer at jennifer@restorationcounselingatl.com.

Troy Snyder, MS, LPC, CCSAS, CPCS

Troy has done supervision for over 10 years. He has a passion for investing in the next generation of counselors. He has extensively worked with sexual addiction, anger, and adolescent issues. Troy is clinically sound and biblically based in his work. He approaches the client primarily from a CBT/trauma model. He also enjoys helping new therapists become effective counselors by assisting in their development in areas such as self-care, identifying their skills, modeling a spiritual walk, and developing management and marketing skills.

Troy does individual and group supervision. If you are interested, please feel free to contact him at troy@restorationcounselingatl.com.

Rebeca Gilbert, MA, LPC, NCC, ACS

Rebeca offers limited individual and dyadic supervision for those pursuing an LPC or equivalent license. She is an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS), which is recognized in 15 states as meeting approved supervisor criteria for licensure.

Rebeca’s orientation to counseling is based on trauma-informed modalities, including somatic attachment, EMDR, neurobiology, polyvagal theory, and narrative-focused therapy. She believes that the primary process of counseling involves supporting the development of emotional regulation and containment in and out of sessions. In this way, clients can address presenting problems and underlying issues and experience symptom reduction and psychological integration. With over 15 years of clinical experience in community mental health as well as private practice, she is also available for consultations with colleagues in the areas of trauma-informed therapy, somatic integration, and EMDR.

If you are interested, you can contact Rebeca at rebeca@restorationcounselingatl.
