Life can be overwhelming, and it often feels like there is never a break. We can easily find ourselves believing that joy is waiting for us once we reach the next milestone, overcome the next challenge, or finally have everything figured out. But I believe there is beauty in the journey, not just when we arrive at our destination. Joy can be found in the present, even in seasons of uncertainty, and sometimes continuing to take the next step is all we can ask of ourselves. Choosing to seek therapy is one of the bravest steps you can take.
Often, we simply need a safe space where someone can sit with us in our story, not to take away the pain, but to help us carry it, offer a different perspective, and remind us that we don’t have to walk through it alone.
I would love to partner with you through individual, couples, or family therapy. My approach is collaborative and tailored to your unique experiences. I enjoy integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to explore the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while also incorporating Family Systems Theory and early childhood experiences to better understand how our relationships shape the way we see ourselves and interact with others.
I have a special passion for working with adolescent, teen, and young adult women as they navigate some of the most transformative seasons of life. During this time, emotions, relationships, identity, and expectations are constantly changing. My hope is to provide a space where young women feel encouraged as they grow in confidence and develop a secure sense of self-worth. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, family conflict, relationship challenges, or major life transitions, I strive to create a space where you feel supported and understood. For clients who wish to incorporate faith into counseling, I welcome those conversations and love reminding them that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14)
I am also passionate about working with couples, premarital or married, and families. Marriage is one of life’s greatest gifts, but it can also be one of its greatest challenges. It is easy to compare your relationship to those around you and wonder why it feels harder than it should. Therapy provides a place to slow down, have honest conversations, strengthen communication, and better understand one another. Families are made up of unique individuals, each bringing their own experiences, personalities, and perspectives. Together, we can work toward healthier relationships, deeper connection, and lasting growth.
Whether you are navigating a difficult season, seeking stronger relationships, or simply looking for a place to process life’s challenges, I would be honored to walk alongside you. You don’t have to have it all together to begin healing. My hope is to walk alongside you as you embrace growth, authenticity, and discover joy in the present.
