Therapy and Coaching – The Difference
Simply put, therapy or counseling can include coaching, but coaching does not include therapy. Therapy will take into account your medical care and needs and could provide long-term support. Coaching will be brief in nature and will focus on obtaining specific goals or outcomes in your life.

Career Coaching
Heidi Sawyer is able to take the guesswork out of career exploration and planning. With years of extensive training and experience, she is uniquely equipped to help individuals take confident steps forward toward their purpose and dreams. Using a career development theoretical framework, she will work alongside you through the decision-making process and help you identify your unique abilities, values, interests, personality, and skills to create a detailed plan for your next steps.
Career coaching can include a variety of services from exploration (self-exploration, exploring majors or career paths, exploring occupations, or exploring your options) to planning (networking, researching occupations, resume development, interviewing prep, gaining experience through internships, or gaining additional skillsets or education necessary for a career path). We will discuss your specific needs in our consultation call and create a plan to help you achieve your goals through coaching.
