Hi, I’m so glad you’re here! I know it probably took some time and even courage to begin the journey of finding a therapist. Maybe you feel anxious or tired or overwhelmed, or all three, and you’re looking for a new way to live. Maybe you’ve spent so much time taking care of everyone else that you don’t know yourself anymore. Maybe you’ve been through a recent life change, and simply want someone outside of your everyday life to give you some extra guidance. Maybe you’ve lost a loved one and need help with the devastating grief. No matter what brought you here, know that you are taking the right steps.
You’re also probably wondering how I can help you. The groundwork of what I do is sitting with you, giving you time and attention, and space to tell your story. I want to know your whole story – your history and your present struggles. We will dive into your story – mind, body, and soul. The mind tells us who you are and what makes you tick. The body gives us signals about our feelings and how we are dealing with our struggles. The soul is the gateway to our connection with God.
While processing your story, I also incorporate practical tools that you can begin to use right away. My clients have often told me they appreciate that the amount of “homework” I give is not overwhelming – it can easily fit into their everyday lives.
Overall, no matter what you are bringing to the therapy room, I want to move you toward a life that is meaningful and fulfilling. If you want to know more about some of the topics I’m passionate about, check out my blog articles below.
