I’m Becky, and I am truly honored to journey with you as you navigate life. Have you been blindsided by a circumstance you did not see coming? Perhaps you even had a hand in your life’s detour and are experiencing the aftermath of emotions like guilt and sadness. In the past, I became an expert at stuffing feelings of shame and regret for many years until circumstances forced me to face and name those feelings and finally heal. I want to help others find hope and courage as they navigate challenging things like depression, anxiety, trauma, and emotional wounds.

My dream to become a counselor started as a tiny seed over 30 years ago. As I became a wife, mother of four, and grandmother, that lifelong desire was put on hold. During those years, I experienced healing from my shame and have embraced a life of freedom and authenticity. Perhaps you desire the same things in life. You are not alone. I would love to walk with you as you face life’s challenges.

I have a passion for people of all ages and stages of life and feel called to use my certificate in trauma to help those who desire to walk in freedom and have positive mental health. Serving as a “Renew” counselor and layperson at my local church has been a fulfilling means of helping others in this way. As a counselor-in-training, my heart desires to provide hope for people who may feel all hope is lost.

With a person-centered approach combined with techniques from cognitive behavior therapy and trauma-informed therapy, I seek to deeply understand each client’s unique needs and challenges and walk with them to find their life path of healing and hope.
