Seeking help takes great courage, so I’m really grateful you’re here. I work with adolescents, teenagers, couples, and adult males. I spent 14 years as an educator before becoming a counselor. As a teacher and a coach, I learned to connect with young people and their families, so they felt heard, honored, and understood. I found that I could create bonds with young people that helped them feel known and loved. I’ve thankful for the opportunity to bring those experiences into my counseling.
I understand how difficult it is to be a kid, a parent, or a spouse in 2022. The struggles you encounter can often feel heavy, scary, and isolating. I want to partner with you or your child and help you in your relationships to find solutions so that you will feel less alone.
We would work well together if you are…
- A middle or high schooler that is overwhelmed by the pressures of school or relationships
- A parent that is struggling to communicate with their child
- A couple that needs help finding a path back toward each other
- An adult looking for peace and clarity in the midst of difficult circumstances
I’m a follower of Jesus and believe in his grace and healing. I use narrative, CBT, and attachment theory in my therapy. I also use the Enneagram when clients feel it is appropriate. Mostly, I listen to your story. I want to know where you’ve come from and where you want to go.
I’m thankful you’ve come this far. Give me a call at 678.534.3824, ext. 125, or send me an email today – Josh@restorationcounselingatl.com. You’ve already taken the first step. Let’s get started together.
