Kyle Sussenbach, MA, LMFT

I’m Kyle, and I am honored that you are considering doing counseling with me. I mean that. Counseling is a sacred and surreal privilege to me. I was 18 when God started prompting me to become a therapist, and now that I’m here, I feel confident that this is what He created me to do.

I hope that through reading this, and in our first interactions, that you will feel like I really care. I strive to create a safe place for you to explore, process, and grow toward the abundant life that I believe, with everything in me, that God wants for you.

I have a particular passion for couples. Whether you have deeply wounded each other, are lost on how to navigate your relationship, or simply need some encouragement, I believe that God made me to help couples grow in intimacy towards each other. Please check out my blog, “The Adventure of Vulnerability,” to see what I mean.

I do my best work helping couples that have been hurt and continue to see the effects of their woundedness in their relationships. My question for you is this: Do you ever experience distress that feels disproportionate to your situation? If so, I can help you navigate this and move towards a healthier and more grounded life.

I also genuinely love working with men and women individually.

If you are a man, it would be my privilege to help you through anxiety/depression, imposter syndrome, shame, increasing emotional awareness, or sexual issues. If you are craving deeper relationships or feel like “there must be more to life,” I’d be delighted to work with you.

When working with my female clients, I feel a sacred charge to provide a safe place for them to process relational wounds. I am very close to my mother and my sister, and they helped form in me a deep love and respect for women, especially those that have been hurt, abused, or taken advantage of by men. If you are looking for a safe place to increase your self-awareness and heal, I would be profoundly willing to work with you.
